Commercial Credit Analyst I

A Commercial Credit Analyst I conducts credit investigations and analyzes credit information pertaining to loans, investigates all available sources of credit and financial information, including reporting services, credit bureaus, other companies, and main office files. Analyzes financial statements and related material. Prepares summaries, presents facts, and occasionally offers opinions concerning credit-worthiness. Provides credit information  and references for customers, and loan officers as requested. Ensures that all credit files include current financial statements, agency reports, etc.

The successful candidate must have a bachelorís degree in accounting, financial management or a related field.  Must have knowledge of financial statements, tax returns and legal documents.  Must have good communication skills.  Attention to detail. Knowledge of personal computers.  Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and financial statement spreading software.  


Responsible for a variety of duties relating to the opening and processing of new accounts of all types; cross-selling of all institution services to customers and prospective customers; preparing and maintaining various reports and records; may take loan applications as trained and directed; researches and resolves problems and responds to customer inquiries on account status; stays informed of bank services or procedures; may be assigned special tasks; may provide leadership to personnel as directed.

Must have a high-school diploma or GED. Two years banking experience required. A commitment to superior customer service. Must have friendly, courteous disposition and good communication skills and attention to detail. Experience with cash handling and sales and an above-average cash balancing record.  Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities (problem solving, judgment, organizational and ability to motivate). Knowledge of personal computers. Notary Public license preferred. Must be available to work on Saturdays when necessary.


A Teller receives and pays out money, and maintains accurate records of all transactions, cashes checks within assigned limits, accepts savings deposits and withdrawals, verifies signatures, posts interest, and balances as required, accepts loan, credit card, and other payments, issues money orders and redeems savings bonds. The Teller will prepare daily settlements of teller cash and transactions, promote the companyís services, answer questions, and direct customers to appropriate department for specialized services. .The candidate must maintain a high level of standards of ethics and behavior in corporate and personal dealings, as well as, in accordance with the Bankís policy on ethics.

Candidate must have a high-school diploma or GED, and a commitment to superior customer service. Must have a friendly, courteous disposition and good communication skills.  Attention to detail. Experience with cash handling and sales preferred. Knowledge of personal computers.  Saturday hours are a must.
