LOAN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
A Loan Administrative Assistant provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to the Loan Department and assists in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports. The position may serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company; handles confidential matters; performs a variety of miscellaneous duties to conserve time for the loan officers; prepares materials for the loan committee and may act as secretary for the loan committee.
Major duties and responsibilities include: coordinate loan closings, prepare loan closing documents, prepare attorney packages, prepare closing checklists and loan input sheets, input loans on the computer system, prepare loan committee reports, prepare correspondences, as needed, and assist all loan officers.
The successful candidate must maintain confidentiality at all times, within and outside of the Bank, as it relates to customer and employee account relationships, transactions, and other pertinent information. The successful candidate must maintain a high level of standards of ethics and behavior in corporate and personal dealings, in accordance with the Bank’s policy on ethics.
The candidate must have a high-school diploma. A college degree is preferred. The candidate must have a friendly, courteous disposition, good communication skills and attention to detail. The candidate must also have the ability to operate a fax machine, scanner, copier and other office equipment and have knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and loan origination and closing software.
FULL TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Summary of Position: Responsible for a variety of duties relating to the opening and processing of new accounts of all types; the cross-selling of all institution services to customers and prospective customers; preparing and maintaining various reports and records; may take loan applications as directed; researches and resolves problems and responds to customer inquiries; keeps informed of Bank services and procedures; may be assigned special tasks; may provide leadership to personnel as directed.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open and close customer accounts
- Open and close safe deposit box accounts
- Sell bank products and services
- Process customer transactions
- Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate banking services
- Make authorized changes to customers' accounts
- Issue Bank checks
- Take wire transfer requests
- Order checks
- Handle restraining notices (letters, holds)
- Notarize various documents
- Maintain own work area in a neat and orderly manner presentable to the public
- Complete all required Compliance training annually
- Perform any other duties as required or assigned by supervisor
Other: Must maintain confidentiality at all times, within and outside of the Bank, as it relates to customer and employee account relationships and transactions to include, but not limited to, other pertinent information. The candidate must maintain the highest level of professional standards and behavior in accordance with the Bank's Code of Ethics.
Job Requirements: Must have a high-school diploma or GED. Two years banking experience required. The candidate must have a commitment to superior customer service; a friendly, courteous disposition, strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Experience with cash handling and an above-average cash balancing record while performing as a Teller is required. The candidate must have demonstrated leadership abilities (problem solving, judgment, organizational and ability to motivate). Knowledge of personal computers is required. Notary Public license preferred. Position involves working on Saturdays.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry work papers, supplies and other related material (up to 25 pounds). Must be able to endure extended periods of standing or sitting. Must be able to reach, bend, hear, write, speak, and see documents and computer terminal.
FULL TIME TELLER
A Teller receives and pays out money, and maintains accurate records of all transactions, cashes checks within assigned limits, accepts savings deposits and withdrawals, verifies signatures, posts interest, and balances as required, accepts loan, credit card, and other payments, issues money orders and redeems savings bonds. The Teller will prepare daily settlements of teller cash and transactions, promote the company’s services, answer questions, and direct customers to appropriate department for specialized services. .The candidate must maintain a high level of standards of ethics and behavior in corporate and personal dealings, as well as, in accordance with the Bank’s policy on ethics.
Candidate must have a high-school diploma or GED, and a commitment to superior customer service. Must have a friendly, courteous disposition and good communication skills with attention to detail.
